Hotel Atlantic is located in the historic center of “Stověžaté” Prague (The Hundred Tower City), on the edge of Old Town, on Na Poříčí Street. All historic monuments, tourist attractions as well as shopping and congress centers are easily accessible.
Near the hotel you can find the Powder Tower (5-minute walk), the starting point of the former Royal Route, today the main tourist route through the center of Prague. It goes down Celetná Street to the Old Town Square (10-minute walk), down Karlova Street to the Charles Bridge (20-minute walk). It continues over the bridge to the Malostranské náměstí Square and up Nerudova Street to the Prague Castle (3 km, 45-minute walk).
There are many famous bars, restaurants, cafés and shopping opportunities near the hotel. The popular Palladium shopping center is in close proximity to Hotel Atlantic. In winter, you can also enjoy the Christmas markets, which are a short walk from the hotel.
The area is very well connected by public transport so you can easily get from one end of town to the other. The hotel is about 200 meters from the metro station, Náměstí Republiky (line B), and the tram (direct connection to the Wenceslas Square, Central station, Florenc, and Holešovice). The underground station Florenc (line B/C) is about 500 meters from Hotel Atlantic; the Metro station Můstek (line A/B) is about 800 meters from the hotel.
The central bus station, Florenc, is within walking distance, as well as the two train stations, Masarykovo nádraží and Hlavní nádraží, which are accessible by tram or metro.
